Uganda is most popular for its Gorilla tracking and this is something that all tourists who land here should try and do.
A certificate of yellow fever vaccination is needed and all visitors are required to take malaria prophylactic drugs prior to travel.
Once in Uganda , you could rent a car, take a mini-bus, a regular bus, or take a bicycle taxi! Driving is on the left side of the road and you can drive with an international permit. The cost of fuel however is quite high and there are virtually no signs to navigate around.
Buses and mini-buses connect most major towns, and mini-buses or share buses are preferable because they are safer, faster and cheaper. You can also join an organized safari and travel with the tour operator. Most cities are connected with a network of well-built roads.
